12-Week Personalised Programme
Up to 15 hours of personalised couples therapy, designed around your life & your relationship.
Relationships don't always get the time they need.
Couples often come to therapy after months or years of struggling with the same patterns. By the time they seek help, something needs to change.
But once therapy begins, the urgency can ease. Things may start to feel better, even though the underlying patterns haven't changed. Or the work can bring difficult feelings to the surface, leaving couples feeling exposed, vulnerable or unsure whether they can face what's coming up.
Feeling better isn't always the same as having changed. And finding therapy difficult doesn't necessarily mean it's not working.
Both are reasons the work can lose momentum. Add the demands of everyday life, and the time and continuity a relationship needs can easily slip away again.
That's why I've created the 12-Week Relationship Programme: a defined period to give your relationship the time, attention and commitment it deserves. A chance to stay with the work, explore what might change and discover what becomes possible when you make space for your relationship, rather than fitting it in around everything else.
“Couples don't always need better answers. Sometimes they need someone who asks a better question.”
Reasons to choose the 12-Week Relationship Programme?
I've designed the programme around the realities of couples' lives — giving you structure and continuity, while keeping enough flexibility to respond to what your relationship actually needs.
01 Your time, used flexibly
Up to 15 hours of couples therapy, shaped around what your relationship needs.
You might need more time at the beginning, when there is a lot to unpack, and less as the work becomes more focused. Sessions can be 60, 75 or 90 minutes, and can be brought closer together when needed. Your time can be used in the way that is most useful to your relationship.
02 A protected place in your diary
Your relationship has a regular time that belongs to you.
We agree a time that works around your life and protect it in both our diaries for the duration of the programme. Monday evening, Friday lunchtime, early morning — whatever works for you. If life changes, we can adapt. But you don't have to start again each week trying to find the time.
Protect the time. Protect the relationship.
03 A small practice, built around couples
I deliberately work with a small number of couples so I can give your relationship the attention and flexibility it deserves.
This isn't couples therapy added to a busy general practice. My work is focused on relationships, which means I can build my diary around the needs of the couples I work with. Making space when something needs more time, and adapting when life inevitably gets in the way.
04 The work continues between sessions
Your relationship doesn't stop being worked on when you leave the room.
I keep track of the patterns, themes and changes that emerge throughout our work, so that each session builds on what we've already discovered. Where useful, I'll also create personalised exercises, reflections or resources to support the work between sessions.
05 A clear beginning, middle and end
You know what you're committing to and you know when we'll stop and take stock.
The programme begins with a thorough assessment, gives your relationship a defined period of focused attention, and ends with a dedicated review of the work. We'll look at what you've understood, what has changed, what still needs attention and where you want to go from here.
The Process & Investment
Before we begin
Initial consultation - £50
A chance for us to meet, talk about what's happening in your relationship and understand what you're hoping for from therapy.
We'll also talk through how the programme works, what it involves and whether it feels like the right fit for you.
It's important to me that you feel confident about the investment before you commit. I'll always be open and honest about whether I think the programme is right for you. If I don't think it's the best fit, we'll talk about what other options might be more appropriate.
Individual assessment - £95 per session
Two individual sessions give each of you space to talk openly about your own experiences, needs and hopes for the relationship.
They also form an important part of the assessment process, helping me understand you as individuals as well as a couple and make sure the programme is appropriate and emotionally and psychologically safe for you both.
Two individual assessment sessions: £190
12-Week Programme
Up to 15 hours of Therapy- £2600
A defined 12-week period of focused couples therapy, with up to 15 hours to use flexibly around your relationship and your life.
12 therapeutic weeks means 12 weeks of therapeutic work rather than 12 consecutive calendar weeks. Planned breaks and holidays can be accommodated.
The structure is clear. How we use the time is flexible.
Reflect & Review Relationship Map - Included in Programme
At the end of the programme, we'll have a dedicated session to pause and look at where you've been, what you've discovered and where you are now.
I'll take you through your Relationship Map — the patterns we've identified, what we've learned about you individually and as a couple.
What do I mean by a Relationship Map?
A Relationship Map is something I build throughout our work. It brings together the patterns, insights and discoveries that emerge as we begin to understand your relationship more deeply.
After each session, I keep track of the pieces that matter, what we've discovered about you, your partner and what happens between you. Over time, I map the patterns that emerge: the beliefs and experiences you each bring, the ways you protect yourselves, what brings you closer or creates distance, and what helps the relationship move forward.
This means the important things we discover don't get lost when the session ends. You don't have to remember everything or work out what matters on your own. I'm holding the threads, connecting what we discover and thinking about how we can use that understanding to keep the work moving. Whether that's something we explore together or something you take away to work on between sessions.
And the map isn't only about what you need to change together. It helps you understand who you are within your relationship. What you each bring, what you may need to develop in yourselves, and how your own growth can support the growth of the relationship.
At the end of the programme, you take the Relationship Map with you.
In our final review session, I'll take you through what we've discovered, the patterns we've identified, what has changed, what still needs attention and what I think might support your next stage.
You'll leave with something tangible to return to. A record of where you've been, what you've learned and what you want to keep working on.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Not necessarily. The programme gives your relationship a defined 12-week period of focused attention, but how we use that time is flexible. Sessions can be 60, 75 or 90 minutes, and we can adjust the spacing depending on what your relationship needs.
The aim is to create consistency without making the therapy rigid. Planned holidays and breaks can also be accommodated, so 12 therapeutic weeks doesn't necessarily mean 12 consecutive calendar weeks.
-
The programme gives you a dedicated period to focus on your relationship, understand the patterns that keep you stuck and begin making meaningful changes. You may find that the 15 hours give you exactly what you need to move forward together.
At the end, you'll have a dedicated review session of up to 70 minutes, outside your 15 hours, to reflect on what you've worked through and decide what would be most helpful next.
You might choose to continue with another programme, arrange some additional extended sessions, attend a workshop together or explore individual therapy, with a referral if appropriate. Or you may feel ready to take what you've learned and put it into practice yourselves.
My role is to help you work out what your relationship needs next and support you in finding the right way forward.
-
You'll have an initial consultation with me first. This is an opportunity for us to talk about what's happening in your relationship, what you're hoping to change and whether I think the programme is the right fit for you.
If we decide to go ahead, you'll each have an individual assessment session before the programme begins. These give you space to talk openly about your own experiences, needs and hopes, and help me understand the relationship from both perspectives.
I'm very clear that the programme isn't right for every couple. If I think another form of support would be more appropriate, I'll tell you.
-
Yes. I offer both in-person sessions at my office in Leamington Spa and online sessions. We can also combine the two, so you might attend in person on some occasions and online at others.
This can be helpful if you live further away, have childcare arrangements to consider or simply need more flexibility around work and other commitments. We'll agree an approach that works for you both.
-
The programme is designed around couples therapy, so both of you need to be present for our sessions. If one of you can't attend, we'll rearrange the session rather than go ahead with just one of you.
When you enrol, we'll agree a regular time slot that's protected in both our diaries for the duration of the programme. This is designed to help you plan ahead and organise your commitments so you can both attend consistently.
If something comes up, we'll do our best to rearrange the session or, where appropriate, allow a little more time at a subsequent session to make up for it. The aim is to use your 15 hours as effectively as possible within the programme period.
-
The programme gives you up to 15 hours of couples therapy to use within the 12-week period. We'll work together to plan your sessions and make the best use of that time.
The hours are intended to be used within the programme period, rather than carried forward indefinitely. If you're concerned about fitting in your sessions, we can discuss this together and plan accordingly before you begin.
-
We don't simply finish and say goodbye. The programme ends with a dedicated review session where we look back at where you started, what you've discovered, what has changed and what still needs attention.
I'll also take you through your Relationship Map, bringing together the patterns, insights and discoveries that have emerged during our work. You'll leave with something tangible to return to, along with a clearer sense of what you want to carry forward.
From there, you may decide to continue working together, take some time to practise what you've learned, explore individual work or attend a workshop. The aim is to finish with clarity about what comes next, rather than simply reaching the end of the calendar.
-
The programme fee is payable upfront. I understand that commitments can change, and I want you to feel clear and confident about the terms before you begin.
A cancellation and refund policy will be provided and explained before you commit to the programme, including how any refund is calculated depending on the stage you've reached.
Transparency and trust are an important part of my work. If you have any questions or concerns about making this commitment, we can talk them through during your initial consultation.
